Hello and welcome!
I am Adrienne Vita and I'm an artist raised on the east coast but now residing in Portland, Oregon for a long while now. Drawing and painting has been part of my life since I was little and I decided early on that I wanted to have a career as an artist. It wasn’t an easy idea growing up in an immigrant blue collar family, but I held on to my dream and my Mom encouraged me. After studying animation and graphic design at the School of Visual Arts, I began working in various creative positions for about a decade and then came back full circle to painting and illustration. I opened my first online shop selling my art and branched out to custom client work, wholesaling with boutiques, vending in person at fairs, and art shows.
Behind the scenes I have always studied Stregharia, used tarot, crystals and a few more divination tools since I was about 15 years old. Decades of my personal practice with metaphysical philosophy has heavily influenced my life and my work. I love to paint nature, animals, and unusual environments, all creating some kind of world or telling a story in each piece. I love connecting with people and I love the hidden meanings in all things. My work has a mystical influence with added special messages to each piece. I truly believe that The Universe is always telling us something, so I hope my messages will inspire you or be just what you needed to hear in that moment. Each piece of art I create comes through either my dreams, intuitions, meditations or long walks. My favorite mediums and tools to use are watercolor, gouache, acrylic and brushes on paper. I do like a touch of digital too but not too much - I like to keep it organic and old school mostly.
