Try and Try and Try Again

Today's post comes in regard to all my August posts about going after your dreams. This month has very strong planetary energy where now is the time to go after what you want. Use this time to catapult yourself right into what you dream of. Well, guess what? I did that this month, a few times and I was met with rejection. Yes, rejection. Big fat, ugly, stupid rejection. I'm not gonna lie... rejection sucks and anyone who says it doesn't phase them, is lying. It can set you back a day... or even two. And you know what? Lick your wounds, cry, have a pity party because who else will for you? Allow yourself that time to honor your true feelings and let them all out. Then after you've binged on some ice cream and taken the day off; forgive yourself and pat yourself on the back for throwing your hat in the ring. Then get up and go kick some ass! This piece for this week's Wednesday's wisdom is a piece that I made for contest I did not win. The meaning of this piece is about believing in abundance for yourself and going after your dreams. What I learned this month is that going after you dreams can be scary. Sometimes you don't get what you want and hey it's ok. It really is. Whatever bad thing, crisis, awful event happened to you; remember this.... It's not what happens to you, it's what you do with it. I may not have gotten exactly what I wanted but I am going to search other avenues until I do. Don't let fear stop you, let it move you. And I now I have this wonderful piece to share with you in my shop. Stay strong and keep on keepin' on.

Be Who You Are

We're almost through with August and the energy this month has been about going after dreams! Have you been utilizing this time to go after what you really want? Have you been stepping into your truth? Or have you been in doubt, jealousy and procrastination? I can't express it enough to take at least a week to slow down, restrict device distraction time (or any distraction of any kind) so you can sit in the quiet. If you are feeling lost and you just can't figure out what you really want - you will only get clear on it if you sit in silence. I know, I know you're busy - but you can set aside 20 minutes! Everyone has 20 minutes every day. It's whether you will take the time to give yourself self-love. Remember, the Universe loves you and has your highest good always in mind. In life we have opportunities to show up for ourselves. There are a lot of teachers, a lot of writers, a lot of artists, a lot of house builders. How are you going to stand out amongst all the people? Just by being you. Each and every one of us has a unique voice. Are you going to be you or be a version of someone else? Your True Calling

We are in Leo right now and with all the planetary action in Leo as well, it's all about stepping into your truth, self love and happiness. The moon was in Pisces yesterday which is very drifty and dreamy and how conscious you are. Are you listening to your signs? What is blocking your transformation in your life? How are you embracing or avoiding the things you need to be doing and why? Today the moon has moved into Aries and it's time to take action. It's time to get on your true path, even if it's really scary. Learn to decipher your fear, your stress, your anxiety. Learn what is real fear and what is just feelings that are normal for motivation. Everybody is afraid, everybody has stress and everybody has anxiety. Don't get confused by those feelings and let them stop you. Recognize them, be brave and take action. The more you step into your truth, things will go really well for you. The more unconscious you are, the more you will see things that of an unhappy vibration around you. I found this quote to remind us to go after what we really want and embrace your true calling. We've just entered into August and this is the month of intense planetary energy where we'll feel that it's important to step into our truth. I picked this quote today to better understand when life throws you curve balls. Really, life is happening for you, not to you. Everything that's happened - be it success, failure, tragedy, heartbreak, or miracles; it all happens for you. The bad stuff is just to show us contrast to the good stuff that happens in our lives. I'm sure you've heard that with success comes many failures. I just learned today that success and failure are not on separate paths, but the same one. When you fail, it just means that success is further down the road. When we don't succeed, the feelings around that failure are only about that one isolated incident and what we can learn from it. It doesn't define us. Remember this when you put yourself out there and go after your dreams. This month's planetary action is all about that. Go big! I know, all outcomes are uncertain. It's better to have tried than sit on the sidelines watching. Go after what you really want, be brave and go for it!
