Day Off Inspiration

We took a road trip out of the city on our day off on Monday. We are lucky enough here in Portland where you can drive about an hour or so outside of the city and it drops off into wide open plains. I love going to these wide open places because I love how quiet, how open and how still it is. It's a place where you can just be. Where you can enjoy the sounds of nature and see really cool animals like deer, horses, raven, eagles and foxes. There was an old ranch on the trail we hiked and this was yesterday's inspiration from the open plains filled with wildflowers. Sitting on top calling to us were two Ravens. Raven animal totems symbolize magic, healing, creation and the bringer of change. I hope you are feeling inspired today.
